Hamburg Foundation Days: Human Rights Management

‘Human Rights Management’ was the theme of the event organised by the Hamburger Stiftung für Wirtschaftsethik on 16 October as part of the Hamburg Foundation Days. Around 30 guests accepted the invitation to the Foundation’s premises on Max-Brauer-Allee, where the Foundation’s Executive Director, Dr Jesco Kreft, welcomed them and gave a brief presentation outlining the work and strategy of the Hamburger Stiftung für Wirtschaftsethik. 

“We are delighted that so many interested parties found their way to us and, above all, that there was such a lively discussion on business ethics,” said Dr Kreft following the event. The conversation continued with the Foundation’s staff in a relaxed atmosphere over light refreshments. 

The Hamburger Stiftung für Wirtschaftsethik identifies and assesses ethical risks in global value chains and works in cooperation with NGOs, companies and government bodies to develop sustainable solutions aimed at reducing human rights violations.
