Partnership with the Dr Jürgen Meyer Stiftung
Following a series of successful joint projects, the Hamburger Stiftung für Wirtschaftsethik and the Dr. Jürgen Meyer Stiftung have agreed to further strengthen their collaboration.
With a cooperation agreement signed by Rüdiger Winkler, Chairman of the Dr. Jürgen Meyer Stiftung, and Dr Jesco Kreft, Executive Director of the Hamburger Stiftung für Wirtschaftsethik, the two foundations have laid the groundwork for a close partnership centred on shared objectives in the field of ethics and morality in education and business life. The first new, long-term joint project – a study entitled ‘Business Ethics and Sustainability in Schools and Vocational Colleges’ – has already been launched. The partnership also provides for the continuation of a series of studies by the Dr Jürgen Meyer Stiftung focusing on middle management.
“As a result of their successful joint projects, the two foundations were already perceived as a partnership in the public eye. Formalising our collaboration on a permanent basis was therefore the logical next step,” said Rüdiger Winkler. The partnership will thus be structurally embedded with immediate effect, said Dr Jesco Kreft: “We will not only work together on a project basis, as we have done so far, but will also develop a programme area whose content we will conceive and design as a joint team.”
