“Social & Business Co-Creation: Collaboration for Impact”

Just how innovative are joint projects between social organisations and private-sector companies? The newly launched competition ‘Social & Business Co-Creation: Collaboration for Impact’ aims to find out.

The awards recognise collaborations that aim to advance Europe socially and economically through new ideas and to enhance the common good.  “At the heart of every project should lie the potential to create a more inclusive and humane economy, to change organisational structures, and to enable everyone to play an active part in bringing about change and turning problems into opportunities,” states the call for applications. Social organisations (such as NGOs, charitable associations and foundations), businesses and government bodies can apply online with their joint projects from now until 10 April. The prize money for the competition winner is 20,000 euros, and two further prizes of 10,000 euros each will also be awarded.

The Europe-wide competition ‘Social & Business Co-Creation: Collaboration for Impact’ is organised by Ashoka, the Zermatt Summit Foundation, the Guilé Foundation, DPD and Boehringer Ingelheim. The Hamburger Stiftung für Wirtschaftsethik supports the initiative as a network partner.
